How To Get More Shares On Your Blog Posts

What if you could get more shares of your blog post to thousands of people who aren’t even in your social media network?  How would you even begin to find these people?  How do you even find new readers?

These are questions that bloggers are asking.  We can share a post on our social media channels and that post might get shared a time or two by our friends, but how many new, regular readers does this bring in?

I’ve been blogger with some regularity for the last two years and I find that it’s very hard to get new readers to my blog.  I’ve used sites like Triberr to leverage other peoples’ accounts to get more shares, but it’s labor intensive, you can’t make people share your posts, and you can manually share 100 posts at a time with a free account.  On Triberr, you can only share blog posts via RSS feed to Twitter, LinkedIn, and/or Facebook.  There are a lot of limits in a free account with this site.

I found another site that I get more shares on with less effort and restrictions – CoPromote.

What is CoPromote?  Here’s how they describe themselves –

CoPromote is a free co-marketing platform that helps content creators boost their social shares to new target audiences on Twitter, Tumblr, Vine, or YouTube. Our community of 800,000+ members includes authors, artists, bloggers, brands, businesses, designers, filmmakers, musicians, photographers, tastemakers, and more.

You can share a post from Twitter, Tumblr, Vine, and/or YouTube.  The number of followers on each site that you add to your profile determines the number of shares you’ll get.

For example, I have my Twitter, Tumblr, and YouTube accounts connected.  Every time I share someone’s Twitter post, then I get 6,348 shares on my own boosted post.  That is the number of followers I have on Twitter.  For each YouTube video I repost, then I get 611 shares on my own boosted post.  And for every Tumblr post I share, I get 203 shares on my post.  As my followers increase, the number of shares I receive increases as well.

CoPromote Share More

Take a look at the analytics from my last boosted post of a giveaway of a Chris Tomlin Christmas CD.  My post was share by 98 other CoPromoters and posted to over 619,000 people on Twitter!  I can’t reach all those people on my own with my following.  But I can more shares with CoPromote.

With a free CoPromote account, I can share 10 posts a day and get up to 63,470 a day on my own post.  If you have more followers, you’ll get more shares.  These are my numbers.

So, how does it work?

When you first sign up with CoPromote, you decide what types of posts you’d like to share.  You can pick three topics and narrow your topics down with some sub-topics.

CoPromote - more shares

Have a little extra cash to get more boost on your posts?  Well, CoPromote has plans to help you get even more leverage.  For as little as $49 per month, you can get 200,000 additional reach, unlimited boosts (you get only one at a time with a free account), and you get premium placement of your posts for others to share.

How can you get in on this awesome deal that takes no more than 5 minutes of your time every day?  Click on any of the CoPromote links in this post and you’ll be taken to the sign up page.  What’s in it for me?  I’ll get to share YOUR blog posts, videos, and Tumblr posts with my readers.  That makes me a very lucky blogger.
