Gratitude – a prayer + praise coloring journal
We all have busy lives. Sometimes I find myself trying to choose between something I need to do and something that I want to do. What I really want to do is spend time in the Word with my Lord AND relax.
Gratitude is a great way to do that. The prayer and praise coloring journal allows me to meditate on the Word, do some reflection, and color as well.
While I color the above page, I can think on the sins that I need to write in the list on the opposite page. What do I need to ask forgiveness for? Who have I wronged? Is there unforgiveness in my heart?
But God is such a loving Father because, after I write those sins and transgressions, I get to erase them, just like God does when I ask Him for forgiveness. He throws them into the Sea of Forgetfulness.
You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea. ~ Micah 7:19
The Living Inspirations Collection from Tyndale allows you to have full creative license over your journal or your journaling Bible. While you can use pens, pencils, paint, or markers, I find that colored pencils allow you to have the most creativity without bleed-through to the other pages.
Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. ~ Psalm 62:5
There are pages with bright pictures that allow you space for personal introspection and thoughts.
And pages with thought-provoking prayers that help to improve you in your daily walk through this life. And why shouldn’t that walk include something as precious as the Gratitude journal?
You can find Gratitude along with all of the all of the other Living Expressions coloring books at the Living Expressions site or you can click the links below to find them and the Inspire Bible, my personal favorite. You can see how I colored the front cover of my Inspire Bible.
