Glade Expressions Collection

I received an opportunity to test the new Glade Expressions® Collection from BzzAgent. They sent me coupons for a free Glade Expressions® Fragrance Mist and a free Glade Expressions® Oil Diffuser in exchange for my honest review.

As you can see, the coupons were for FREE products. Unfortunately, Publix had them priced higher.

I paid $1.20 more for the oil diffuser and

$0.50 more for the mist. I was disappointed that Publix only had two scents in the mist and only one scent of oil diffuser. So as to not drive my family’s noses nuts, I choose the pineapple and mangosteen scent. They come in four regular scents: Cotton & Italian Mandarin, Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice, Lavender & Juniper Berry, and Pineapple & Mangosteen.

The oil diffuser came packaged nicely.

The white sheet in the middle is upside down. The pointy end goes down into the oil that’s attached at the base of the pretty wood holder with just a little pressure. The Glade Expressions® Oil Diffuser has a very simple, but pretty design that looks good in all decorating styles. The natural wood of the diffuser matches all of your decor. The oil is wicked up into the white sheet to diffuse the scent.

The mist was easy to use, however, I wasn’t able to test the scents unless I sprayed it in the store. That means that someone is going to have a can that’s not full. I think a scratch and sniff tag on the can would have been helpful. The mist smells just like the oil diffuser so we don’t have clashing fragrances. The mist is very light and there’s still a light odor of it over and hour later.

I found the scent to be fairly realistic and not overwhelming to my senses. My adult son said that it gave him a headache. My husband said that the scent was too sweet, which I found interesting because he liked another company’s plug-in scent that I found to be fake, over-powering, and chemical-smelling.

The questions remains then if I would use these Glade products in our home again. I would like to try another scent. Tropical fruit isn’t my favorite, but it was what was available. I might like to try the Cotton & Italian Mandarin, which was available only in the mist. The other scents sound interesting. I think that these scents are pricy. I’m not willing to spend a lot of money on stuff like this so I would think twice about buying them. I would think about buying the oil refills depending on how long the one I have lasts.

I’m not a huge fragrance spray fan. I’ll probably take what I have to work and use it there. Even though the refill is available, I probably won’t buy it, because I didn’t use sprays prior to trying the Glade.
