Friday Review Mash Up #38

Happy Friday, friends!  It was an exciting week in my house.  My son earned his Commercial Driver’s License so that he can test drive the buses he’s working on and my husband it out of the hard boot walking on crutches and is now in a brace and walking with a cane.  Thankfully, his broken leg is mending on schedule and he’s used the down time at home to finish writing a book.  I can’t wait to share it with you once it’s published.  I hope you’re as eager to see this week’s reviews as I am to share them with you.

SENPAIC Casual Backpack

I absolutely adore the SENPAIC Casual Backpack. First, it has a wide flat bottom that stands up when put on the floor. It’s perfect for carrying my books for school. The shoulder straps are adjustable. It has a large front pocket that holds my pencil box. It has two handles on top for those times that I don’t want to carry my backpack on my shoulders. It has an inside pocket that’s large enough to hold my laptop apart from my books and it has an inside zippered pocket to keep my valuables from falling out. It comes in black, blue, gray, and pink. I personally love my new pink backpack for school.

Dreamcatcher Arts 48 Gel Pen Set with Case

This Dreamcatcher Arts 48 Gel Pen Set is so much fun to color with. There are 48 fine tipped pens in the carrying case with 12 glitter, 12 neon, 12 metallic, and 12 pastel (water chalk) pens. I really love the glitter colors that add a little shimmer to whatever I’ve colored. The neon colors really stand out of a picture. The metallic pens are bright and shiny. The only thing I suggest is that you let each color dry before you rub your hands over it because they might not dry quickly and smudge. Great for fine work whether your coloring or drawing.

Emergency First Aid Kit with Resuscitation CPR Mask

I’ve been trained in first aid and CPR since I was 9 years old and one of the things that is missing from pretty much every first aid kit that I’ve used it a barrier for CPR. This is the first affordable, personal Emergency First Aid Kit with Resuscitation CPR Mask that includes a protective barrier for giving breaths. Not only that, but it has a cooling gel sheet for severe burns. It includes the regular first aid items that you need like bandages, gauze, alcohol wipes, but it includes scissors, a whistle, gloves, safety pins, and so much more. This kit is a MUST-HAVE for camping, biking, water sports, hiking, Scouting outings, for your home, car, RV, and boat. You need one of these ready to go for any situation you may find yourself in.

Anjou Unrefined Shea Butter

I love using products with shea butter in it to moisturize my post-menopausal dry skin. I found that it was better for me to use it at night before I go to bed. Anjou Unrefined Shea Butter uses vitamins A, E, and F and doesn’t clog pores. It’s 100% pure and unrefined shea butter.

Shea butter softens my feet in between pedicures and keeps them looking spa fresh. It moisturizes my hands so that they look youthful. My dry skin problem spot is my hips and shea butter keeps them itch-free. I was able to use it on my sunburn so that my skin didn’t peel and dry out after staying in the sun too long.

Some of many benefits of shea butter are:

  • Shea butter is very effective and helping to prevent stretch marks during and after pregnancy, after significant weight loss, or from the natural aging process.
  • Deeply hydrates and moisturizes dry skin making it softer and smoother.
  • Reduces itching, irritation, and flakiness caused by extremely dry patches of skin.
  • Helps reduce skin peeling and irritation from sunburn.
  • Helps restore the hair’s sheen and luster, making it silky and giving it a naturally healthy shine.
  • Dramatically restores elasticity to the skin and helps to reduce the appearance of blemishes and wrinkles.
  • Great moisturizer for certain skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
  • Reduces dryness and flakiness of the scalp and hair.
  • Helps reduce the symptoms of various skin rashes.
  • Dramatically softens tough and cracked skin on hands and feet.

Colorful Agate Stone Beads Leather Wrap Bracelet

This is a Colorful Agate Stone Beads Leather Wrap Bracelet made to wrap around most wrists twice. However, if you have a bigger wrist, like mine, it won’t quite make it. It would be a great choker necklace. It has the smell of horse leather, which I find pleasing and relaxing. The bracelet is fastened with a button that fits in between two of the pieces of tied leather. Colorful, bright, and matches every outfit.

LUNARA LED Night Light

The Lunara LED Night Light illuminates the hallway so my son doesn’t trip up the stairs when he gets home from work at 1:30 AM. But it’s not so bright that it keeps me awake at night. It’s just right. The light sensor turns it on and off and I don’t have to worry about forgetting to turn it on before I go to bed. I like that it comes two to a package so that I can put one in my bathroom. Keep one in the baby’s room so that you don’t have to turn on a light when you check on the little one before you turn in or when you need to do a late feed or diaper change. I hate turning the light on when I get up in the middle of night and now I don’t have to.

  1. All of these products sound very interesting. Especially the little backpack. I don’t like carrying a purse and that seems fashionable yet functional. Thanks for sharing
