Friday Review Mash Up #25

Welcome to another Friday Review Mash Up and TGIF!  I got to review some really cool stuff this week and I’m eager to share them with you.

1byone Portable Stereo Turntable

I have some records that are really special and can’t be replaced on modern devices without spending a lot of money for each one to be transferred. This 1byone Portable Stereo Turntable brings back huge memories for me, as this was the way I started playing recorded music. My mother had the records at hand and I was able to open the box, plug in the player, and play away. The sound is accurate. Because my records were recorded in the 70s and 80s, I can’t tell if they were recorded in stereo, but the sound comes off that way. I can hear different instruments and vocals.

I really love that the turntable doesn’t start turning until you lift the arm off of the stand, so that it doesn’t run unnecessarily. It comes with the center insert for a 45. It plays 33, 45, and 78 discs. You can plug in your mp3 player, headphones, or connect external speakers for an improved listening experience. And, when you’re done with it, everything goes right back into the box and is secured with a hinged clasp. It even looks as if it’s old, but it’s not.

DurbPro Tabletop Tripod

I’ve tried tons of tripods for photos and videos and this DurbPro Tabletop Tripod is hands-down THE BEST one I’ve ever used. It has sturdy legs that fold together to make a cool hand-held holder for your cellphone. It securely holds my phone with a thin metal that doesn’t get in the way of my pictures and grips with rubber. It doesn’t accidently hit my volume or on/off buttons like every other tripod has done. The phone holder part moves with the touch of a button so that you can change the angle of your device and it stays secure at that angle until you press the button to move it. No more trying to screw something tight and having the cheap plastic break. That’s not going to happen with this one. Recommended!

Funny Bonez Self Cleaning Slicker Brush

THE biggest issue with any dog or cat brush is getting all of the hair out of the brush while you’re trying to groom your pet. The Funny Bonez Self Cleaning Slicker Brush is the solution to this issue. Brush your animal with the brush, with wire bristles, and when you need to remove the loose hair, simply push the button on the back of the brush. This pushes the hair out of the bristles making it come off without a single hair left behind. The handle has a rubber grip that fits perfectly in my hand and it has a hole on the top of the handle so you can easily hang it up when not in use. Groomer just got easily with this nifty brush.

Ball Chain Lanyard

This is a very attractive silver Ball Chain Lanyard attached to a key ring with a lobster claw on a swivel. The chain is so much more attractive than the typical ball chain. This almost looks like a necklace and won’t be easily knotted when thrown into your purse or pocket. It’s 33 inches long, which fits easily over the head without having to worry about messing up your hair. No more worrying about your badge holder matching your outfit each day. This beautiful chain will match whatever you wear.

DEALPEAK 12X Phone Camera Lens Kit

The DEALPEAK 12X Phone Camera Lens Kit is definitely a handy little lens to carry when you’re out taking photos. I certainly need to spend more time with the lens, but the proof is in the picture. What was far away in the picture before the lens is now close up and with relatively good resolution. I like that I can manually focus when setting the lens, It definitely makes the picture clearer. Great for those shots where your own phone camera just can’t get close enough. Bird watching, plane spotting, and more.

7-piece Nylon Tools Set

I love that this 7-piece Nylon Tools Set, BPA-free kitchen utensils have their own stand that allows my drawers to keep from being cluttered. The full-sized utensils are sturdy, more so than the stand itself. The utensils won’t scratch your teflon, ceramic, or other non-stick pans, so they’re great to have in the kitchen. They’re dishwasher safe, too. They’ll definitely hold up to regular use and would be great for your own kitchen or as a gift.
