Lash Factory’s 3D Fiber Mascara
I was really excited to be able to finally try a fiber mascara. I had seen then in my Facebook newsfeed, but I had never had the opportunity to try them. When I was contacted to review Lash Factory’s 3D Fiber Mascara, I jumped at the chance.
You get a case, that resembles a glasses case, with two tubes. One tube has the “wet” transplanting gel and the other is “dry” and contains the natural fibers. The fibers are 100% natural and taken from the campanulaceae of green tea. In other words, it’s the scientific name of the family of plants that green tea comes from.
The fiber mascara is very easy to apply. First, you do at least one coat of regular mascara on your eyelashes. This gives them some thickness and some color. When you are satisfied with what they look like, apply the transplanting gel or “wet” medium to your lashes. I prefer to add it to the tips of my lashes only so I don’t have the fibers as close to my eyes.
Once you’ve done one eye, then switch over and add the transplanting gel and natural fibers or “dry” ingredients to your eyelashes while the transplanting medium is still wet. This allows them to adhere to your lashes and give them some length. Then, reapply the transplanting medium to set the fibers and keep them from coming off. They were easy to remove with my normal removal method of using baby oil.
So, here’s what my eyelashes looked like before Lash Factory’s 3D Fiber Mascara –
And, here’s what they look like after Lash Factory’s 3D Fiber Mascara –
My lashes were longer and more luscious. I will admit that if you have sensitive eyes, you may not like wearing fiber mascara. I have a thing about stuff on my eyes and am very sensitive to hairs and fine strands of things in my lashes.
