I recently had the opportunity to test a large diffuser and two diffusers that would be great for the office or travel.
Zen Filter-Free Ultrasonic Cool Mist Diffuser
I’ve recently become an essential oils representative with Young Living and I’m learning about diffusing oils. Before I became a representative, my husband and I were sick, a friend brought us one of her diffusers and some essential oils to help us relieve our respiratory issues. The borrowed diffuser was good for about four hours before it shut off. The Zen Filter-Free diffuser with built-in LED lights, with its 1.3 liter tank, runs for 8 to 10 hours depending on how you set the adjustable mist rate and automatically shuts off when the water gets too low.
The Zen diffuser has seven built-in LED lights (red, orange, yellow, green blue, indigo, and purple) that make it a beautiful night light in all or only one of the colors. If you decide to run the diffuser with the LED lights, they will continue to run even when the humidifier shuts off.
The diffuser has it’s own aroma diffuser drawer with a felt pad, so that the essential oils aren’t added to the water and run directly through the body of the diffuser and possibly damaging it.
I highly recommend the Zen cool mist diffuser. It’s great for diffusing essential oils to improve mood as well as a humidifier to help ease upper respiratory issues and congestion, and as a night light.
Volcano Ultrasonic Diffuser
The Volcano Ultrasonic Diffuser is a 160 ML tank capacity cool mist ultrasonic diffuser with a color-changing light in the top that stays on as a night light. Perfect for your baby’s or children’s room to keep the boogeyman and sniffles away.
With a touch sensitive on and off switch, the cool volcano design looks like a volcano with the light and cool mist emanating from the top.
It takes a little time for the water to be absorbed into the filter and for the mist to start, but you can help it along by placing a couple of drops of water in the top so that it can filter down into the humidifier. Once the mist starts, it really is a little workhorse.
The one thing that I’m not a fan of is that this comes with a white USB cord that I had to plug into one of my phone plugs, but it could be plugged into your computer’s USB port or in your car’s port. I wish that it had a matching cord that plugged into a wall socket on its own.
RipaFire Cool Bottle Diffuser
The RipaFire Cool Bottle Diffuser is great to take while you’re traveling for your hotel or car. This cool mist humidifier holds 180 ML. It takes a little time for the water to be absorbed into the filter and for the mist to start, but you can help it along by placing a couple of drops of water in the top so that it can filter down into the humidifier. Once the mist starts, its consistent flow of cool hydration helps to keep your skin moisturized when the air is dry.
It’s great when you want to make the stale air of your hotel room smell more appealing. When you have a difficult time falling asleep, diffusing essential oils can help to calm your mood and relax you so that you can sleep. It takes up hardly any room in your luggage.
The light on this humidifier can be turned on or off with the touch of a button depending on your preference, so it’s a nice nightlight for the unfamiliar hotel room or for your child’s room. It can be used to improve the air in your vehicle as well when you plug it into your car’s USB port or into your car charger.
I’m not a fan of the fact that this comes with a USB cord that I had to plug into one of my phone sockets to power, but it can also be plugged into your computer’s USB port or in your car’s USB port. I wish that it had a cord that plugged into a wall socket on its own.
