Copper Fit: Help or Hype?

I got the “As Seen on TV” product, Copper Fit Compression Sleeve for my husband’s knee, which has been giving him trouble since he last did defensive tactics at work last year.  His knee has given out more than a couple of times since then.

I ordered the medium sleeve, based on his leg measurements.  What he found was the the sleeve itself was very supportive and felt good, but the elastics used to hold the top and bottom of the sleeve were way too tight.

Here’s the product description from the website:

Relieve muscle stiffness, soreness and pain with Copper Fit™ elbow and knee sleeves. Infused with the highest quality copper, this lightweight antimicrobial performance fabric provides comfortable compression for support and extended wear. Helps improve circulation, prevents strain and speeds healing.

Because my husband, and my son, were unable to wear the Copper Fit knee sleeve, I can’t confirm or deny any of the supposed benefits.

  • Helps to reduce recovery time of muscles
  • Wicks sweat away from the body to prevent chafing and rashes
  • Provides support for muscle stiffness, soreness, and pain
  • Supports improved circulation and oxygenation of working muscles

My personal observation of the product is that, short of the elastic, the actual sleeve doesn’t appear to be any more than minimally supportive.  If you feel that this product is what you need, you should definitely keep your receipt in case you need to return it.

I have owned a few “As Seen on TV” products and I currently own a My Fun Fish tank, so I know that they have some good products available.  But I do know that they have some questionable ones as well.

If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your Copper Fit product, you may return it for a prompt refund.

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.
