Chamberlain’s Leather Milk…no more stinky seats

I’m excited to be back again with more Chamberlain’s products.  This time I’m reviewing Chamberlain’s Leather Milk No. 5 Furniture Treatment.  This leather conditioner is meant to clean and condition your leather.  I turned to our leather couch and a leather chair (not the same leather chair from this post:  Chamberlain’s Leather Milk…it’s not for drinking!).

As you can see, the couch arm (one of the dirtiest parts of any piece of furniture)  that has been treated not only looks cleaner, but looks moist and supple.  The untreated side looks dirty and dry.

Anyone who has had boys knows that they smell funny.  I don’t know why they do, but they do.  It’s just “boy smell”.  One side of the couch seems to be his favorite location.  When asked to switch sides, he acknowledges my request, but never complies.  I know, but I can’t kill him, it’s illegal!  Back to the couch…it currently does not smell of boy.   The lovely smell of Chamberlain’s Leather Milk No. 5, which reminds me of Jergens Lotion from my childhood, takes away the “boy smell” and leaves it smelling of nothing.  Heavenly!

Chamberlain’s has 5 products for your leather cleaning and conditioning needs:  Leather Care Liniment No. 1, Straight Cleaner No. 2, Water Protectant No. 3, Auto Refreshener No. 4, and Furniture Treatment No. 5.  I recommend going to the Chamberlain website and reading about the company and their products for yourself.

You can order from Chamberlain’s directly or you can order from them on Amazon.  The price is the same.

Furniture Treatment No. 5 leather furniture conditioner contains rich, natural leather conditioners and a gentle leather cleaner designed to clean and condition your quality leather furniture items!  Furniture Treatment No. 5 may be used as often as desired to clean and refresh leather furniture items such as leather sofas, leather couches, leather love seats, leather ottomans, and leather chairs.  Not for use on suede or extremely soft leather types like aniline leather. Works best on semi-aniline leather and pigmented leather.

  1. I want to buy a new couch rather than clean mine. haha But if our couch was leather, I’d give this a try! And my boy is only 1 but I know he will be super stinky in no time! 🙂

  2. I told someone else that boys have a different odor and they thought I was imagining it. Glad to know I am not nuts lol. I will have to give this a try, we have a leather sofa covered in dog dirt and boy smells. 🙂

  3. Thanks for this Sandy. I was just thinking about doing something more to our couch but had no idea what to use. I’ll be trying this soon!
