Review: Arm & Hammer Sensitive Toothpaste

I’ve had sensitive teeth on and off over the years.  I tend to be a very vigorous brusher and have done some damage to my gums, which leaves me teeth sensitive at times.  I’ve tried at least two other brands of sensitive toothpaste and I haven’t been fond of the taste or the feeling that my teeth weren’t clean.

I had the opportunity to try Arm & Hammer Sensitive Toothpaste.  I was sent a travel-sized tube.  However, I have to say that I have liked using the Arm & Hammer Sensitive Toothpaste.  There is a fresh taste and you can even taste the baking soda added for whitening.  I haven’t had any sensitivity and my teeth feel clean all day.  With that being said, I would definitely use Arm & Hammer Sensitive Toothpaste and I’m going to recommend it to my dental hygienist when I see her on Tuesday.

P.S. (1/21/14) – I went to have my teeth cleaned today and had no sensitivity pain at all.  I guess that says it all.  😀

  1. I was buying sensodyne for over 10$ a pop! I have wondered about this A&H brand. I also rub my teeth lightly with a cotton swab dipped in pure peppermint or lavender oil when my teeth hurt. kills the pain with in 5 minutes. not a very pleasant after taste, but at bedtime I snack (I know..a no=no) I’ll eat a bit of icecream and then BAM POW! PAIN! I grab the oil and cotton swab and you can feel the pain leaving as it travels out your tooth and gums. Sounds odd, but I swear its true. I was told Lavender is a good antiseptic and peppermint is good for your tummy. Nothing beats proper brushing and dentist trips though.
Great product review. I am sold!
