About Sandy’s P.O.V.

Sandy's P.O.V.

Welcome to Sandy’s P.O.V.

A social media addict, Sandy felt that blogging would make a great addition to her social media portfolio.  Blogging since about 2008 at Uncompromising!, Sandy wanted to do something different and thought that product and book reviews would be a fun way to make contact with the world.  Sandy began blogging at Sandy’s P.O.V. in 11/2013 on a free website and moved it to its own domain in July 2014 and has never looked back.

Sandy Collum Sandmeyer is a 40-something who’s been married to her husband, Scott, for over 25 years. They have an adult son, Tim, who works for mass transit as a bus mechanic, is hilariously funny, and is 6’5″!  Together, they love road trips, loud music, any type of car racing as long as it’s not NASCAR, good conversation, and fine food.

Sandy was raised in Stratford, CT and moved to the Tampa Bay area with her parents two days after graduating from high school.  She attended Eckerd College and graduated with a B.A. in Human Resources.

She began working with a local municipality over 25 years ago and as a non-attorney representative she currently assists indigent clients in obtaining their disability benefits through the Social Security Administration in her department’s Disability Advocacy program, which has a 90% approval outcome.  She’s a Certified Public Manager.

The Sandmeyers, along with Sandy’s parents, began attending Countryside Christian Center in late 2006 and their lives were incredibly changed. Sandy and Scott, both with their Doctor of Sacred Studies, have begun attending the Christian Life School of Theology in preparation for what God has planned for their future ministry together and are less than 1 year away from obtaining their Doctor of Theology.
